Vacating procedures

If you wish to vacate your rental property, it is essential that you provide the required period of notice in writing, by post, fax or email.  Our standard notice to vacate form is available for download here for your convenience.

Sometimes circumstances change and you may need to vacate the premises prior to the end of your tenancy agreement.  Clause 26 of your REIV lease agreement outlines your obligations in relation to a lease break situation, including the requirement to reimburse the landlord for reletting expenses and rent until a suitable tenant can take occupancy of the property.  Our standard lease break notice to vacate form is available for download here for your convenience.
